Repair / tuning of a Fly Sidewinder
Fly does not supply us, dealers with spares anymore.
Alternatives have to be found.
for example the SlotIt axle convertion kit SI KK 15-B
you can see by the picture it works.
For more room between the axle and the motor
you can use the special rearaxle of SlotIt (SI PA 01-54-R)
For cars with the separate motorholder it is advised to use
the wider bushings SI PA 68 (check the picture with the Porsche GT1)
Eventually one might need the kit SI KK 02-B for the smaller rims.
(Porsche 911 - classic cars)
It is necessary to use the Sidewinder gears Ø 19mm to keep
the fix distance between motor axle and rear axle.
we highly consider to use of SlotingPlus
the reamer 2,38mm (SP 143226)
to work the gear! (you will need this!)
