P/1083 chassis was the last GT-40 built and sold as a racing car to the specifications of the 1969 Le Mans winner. The Brazilian CAI team raced it for a couple of years until it was purchased by Wilson Fittipaldi, who raced them for ten years and it was even used as a street car by Emerson Fittipaldi.
After going through several hands, it was bought by Archie Urciuoli in 2002, who restored it to its original configuration and since then it has been a regular on the classics meetings such as Monterey Historics, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, and the Le Mans Classic.
